Josie Oliva

Josie Oliva is a native of Raceland, Louisiana. She discovered her passion for music at an early age and began performing locally at just 14 years old. She continued to pursue music through school, and after developing a particular love for theatre, attended the University of New Orleans to study theatre arts. There she began a professional career in acting, later graduating from Northwestern State University of Natchitoches, Louisiana with a bachelor's degree concentrated in musical theatre performance. 

Now, Josie is working as an actor for film, tv, and theatre in and around New Orleans. She is also a vocalist and acoustic guitarist and is frequently found gigging all around the state of Louisiana. Recently, she has been contracted as a seasonal cruise line entertainer, performing as an acoustic-accompanied solo-act.
